Like a Rock

It has been two decades since I have slept on the ground -- in a tent. Yet, in less than six months I'll be doing so for a full week, in Africa.

Fortunately, the last two nights I have been forced to sleep on the floor (since I have been sans mattress). The first night was pretty rough, but to be honest, the second night wasn't so bad.

There's hope for me yet.
