There's a First Time for Everything

Being true to my sagatarious sign, I have a voracious appetite for learning, travel and new experiences. This trip is chock full of "firsts".
  • Fly fishing. Given that we stayed at a fly fishing lodge, we had to learn a few tricks. I had no idea that fly fishing is such an artistic sport.
  • Eating beef. When in Rome. Or so they say. Given that I'm hell bent on eating meat again, I had a few bites of filet mignon (sp?). It was a bit too chewy for my taste. I'm not claiming defeat yet though. I'll try again...later.
  • Horseback riding through the jungle. I have ridden in the Georgia mountains and the desert of Utah, but never a jungle.
  • Zip lining
  • Eating dog balls, and other random fruits, berries and leaves growing in the jungle.
  • Diving through a swim through.
  • Diving down 130 feet. This experience takes the cake. It was surreal -- unlike anything I have ever experienced before. I'll never forget this.
