Bikes for the Beach, Golf Carts for the Street

Getting around Abergris Caye is quite an experience. The main modes of transportation are boat, bike and golf card. The boat is the best option when traveling from San Pedro (the main city on the island) to the north part of the island (which is where El Pescador is located). Bikes are nice when traveling up and down the north part of the island and golf carts are best for getting around San Pedro. As you may imagine, getting around can be quite a challenge -- you can't be in a hurry here, man -- and that's why I like it.
