Belize - Day 2 - Snorkeling Hol Chan

El Pescador's dive master took Miriam and I out to Hol Chan -- i.e., Little Channel in Mayan -- and Shark Ray Alley. The snorkeling and private guide were fantastic!

After a light continental breakfast, the three of us took off. The boat ride was glorious - I loved the different shades of blue in the water and sky.

I was thoroughly impressed with the variety of marine life we saw is such a short time frame. We saw: parrotfish, group, triggerfish, barracudas, butterfly fish, green sea turtles, nurse sharks, spotted rays, sting rays, and more. Visibility this time of year isn't as high during 'peak' season, but it is still fantastic at 70+ feet. The water was around 88 degrees Fahrenheit - and felt great, until we had been at it for a few hours :) .
